How to Care for your Rosary Beads
All my rosary beads are made with the upmost care using high quality sterling silver centrepieces and crucifixes.
The pins used in all sets are silver filled - Sterling silver-filled wire and findings are fabricated with an outer layer of sterling silver (.925/20) over a copper-alloy core. The findings have additional silver plating for uniformity and then each one is finished with an anti-tarnish coating to preserve the beauty and luster of the silver. The chain links that link the decades to the Our father prayer beads are .925 solid sterling silver rolo chain.
All sterling silver will oxidise over time when in constant contact with the air - it is best to keep your rosary beads in the box provided.
It is recommended that you regularly clean your Silver rosary beads using Hagerty's Silver & Silver plated cleaner - this is available online from www.koodak.com.au (Melbourne), or from Australian Jewellery Supplies (Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide & Perth) www.jewellerssupplies.com.au - this is also a great cleaner for all your Sterling silver jewellery
Alternatively you can clean the centrepiece and crucifix with a silver polishing cloth e.g. Goddards brand available from major supermarkets.
Rosary beads should be kept in the gift box when not being used.
